God Bless Our Veterans
Thirty years ago, I was blessed with the privilege of being born in this wonderful country we know as the good ole U.S. of A. I have never done anything more than wake up each morning to a relatively simple, day to day life. My daily worries could never compare to the worries that men and women dating back generations have had to endure on the front lines of war. Many in this country balk at the idea of war. Many in this country have never put thought into the idea that their simple right to protest anything, including war, is a freedom that was fought for and will continue to be fought for until the end of time. I could never imagine what it is like to go to sleep each night in a foreign land, away from the comforts of home… Gun fire and bombs blasting in the distance, the idea that at any moment an enemy ambush could happen and life could flash before ones eyes, gone forever… All for one great purpose. That purpose is freedom… your freedom, my freedom, even our unborn children’s freedom. The struggle for liberty and justice for all, will always remain and the gratitude that I hold in my heart for our military men and women who have served in the past, who are serving now, and who will serve in the future will never be enough. That gratitude, it’s all I have… With that, we salute you all and say a simple, thank you.
God Bless,
Jaron Hall
